My crappy cellphone picture managed to catch a bit of a metaphor.
It’s kind of funny, the sights you see depending on your place of employ. When your employee parking lot is Delaware Park, you have it pretty good. Happen to see this the other night leaving work. Either a plow or a sloppy driver managed to take out this street light. This is right at the height of the Park Conservancy versus City Hall dust up. It’s sort of represents that battle. The Conservancy kept the light on, but the City was a little slow in sending somebody to clean it up. The lamp laid in state for another few days when I left for my holiday.
