Where has this been?
Watching the Sabres with some former schoolmates last night in Brennan’s, we were all gobsmacked by this.
The Sabres finally won at home, first time for the season and Thomas Vanek briefly channeled some unholy combination of LaFontaine and Perreault. It was gasp-worthy, but finally in a good way.
Nice call, too. They play like that, with that sense of purpose, maybe, just maybe there is some room for optimism
