It has been a surreal week to be sure. I was relieved that the marathon bombers that the New York Post and CNN caught on Wednesday actually were caught after a day for the ages on Friday. I was the downtown hockey establishment Friday evening staffing the end of the season home team implosion when the word came down the second guy was caught and discussion in the hallways immediately shifted from freaky goals to they really got em? As the Sabres were at the wrong end of a laugher, the current events chatter nearly drown out the sports chatter.
So aside from the Post and CNN giving example to the need to be first over the need to be right is a really warped sense of priority, I’m glad Boston can exhale today
